Faith & Vision
APPLE VALLEY CHRISTIAN CARE CENTER FOUNDATION

Apple Valley Christian Care Center Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that was established to enhance the current and future needs of the Apple Valley Christian Care Center. It exists to support the ministry of the Center and to provide the philanthropic resources in order to assure that individuals in need of skilled nursing care will be treated with dignity and respect in a caring Christian environment.

The Foundation is led by a board of community leaders who serve as representatives for the Apple Valley Christian Care Center.  Their involvement, coupled with gifts from area residents, community organizations, foundations and corporations, helps to support our ongoing vision.
Contributions to our Foundation help to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals in our community who are elderly or medically fragile and cannot care for themselves any longer.  Any gift, whether large or small, allows us to follow through on our commitment to provide residents and their family members with licensed quality, professional services coupled with a spirit of love, compassion, and kindness.

Ways to Help

There are many ways that your time, talents and treasures can benefit our residents so that they continue to receive the most excellent skilled nursing care in the High Desert. Here are just a few ideas:
  1. » Supporting technological upgrades
  2. » Making renovations for resident rooms and common areas
  3. » Supplying the materials for resident activities
  4. » Cognitive Therapy training for staff and volunteers to assist residents with maintaining cognitive capabilities
  5. » Outdoor Nature Trail for residents as well as families to enjoy during their visits with residents
  6. » Funds for resident needs such as clothing, glasses, special reading materials and specific interests/hobbies
  7. » AVCCC Foundation Brochure (in development)
